Default civic radiator in crx

Has anyone ever put a 92-00 civic radiator in a crx before.. Im trying to get room for my turbo and it will hit the stock crx radiator.. The civic one is smaller but thicker and I can mount it twords the passenger side of the car and the turbo is on the driver side.. Anyone know if the smaller but thicker radiator will cool the motor correctly..

If you have the money get a Fluidyne or Koyo. If not, get a oem radiator for a 94-95 Del Sol Vtec (b16a), it's a dual core radiator. You can get them from performance radiator for around $125.

How would you mount that civic radiator?

The 92-00 civic radiator has 2 mounts at the bottom.. So does the crx one.. But the crx mounts are farther apart then the ones on the civic.. So I would use the stock mount on the passenger side and move the driver side mount over to meet where the civic radiator mount is.. This is all assuming the crx radiator and civic radiator are the same height..

I don't think they are the same height, I believe you have to tilt it.

Its quite a bit taller from what I have herd. You have to cut into the front x-memeber to get it to fit or tilt it back a ways...

if you dont want to tilt it you will have to buy a crossmember made to fit it, place racing or z10 both make them. i have it done on my car, there is a good couple inches difference.
