Purchased my first air tool today
I picked up an impact wrench at Sears today and I must say I am very happy with it. I used to do all my work with hand tools and it was getting too frustrating. Now I want to go pick up a air socket wrench for those harder to reach places.
I really recommend picking up a compressor and air tools if you do a decent amount of work on your car.

I had gotten an air wrench a while ago and it sucked. Couldn't break the bolts on my header for the life of it. Think it was running at ~100psi. Nothing beats a little elbow grease. Air tools are only good if you have the $$$ to get the good stuff. Rather spend the money on mods.
Good High Quality tools are a excellent investment. It took me many years to pay for my snap-on stuff (I was a mechanic for a while) but I will never regret having them, Nor will I ever get rid of them.
Yes, but look at any racing team, and look in their tool box. Chances are you wont see Craftsman, but Snap-On only. Look at the Japanese racing teams, same thing. Pay a little more for the best.
