hmm Thanks for the pics.. the 205's don't stick out as far as i though on a 6.5" rim.

Great thanks! They look perfect on a 7" rim... argh. I have Spoon Sw388 and they only come in 6.5" in the 15" so i'm stuck with the 205.50's... thats why i want to know how far they stick out.

i'll trade ya! just when you go to the tire store have em mount a 195/50 and a 205/50 just to see what pleases you...id imagine the 205's would look just fine...

 

Oh, I just posted this picture under the "black lugs" thread. I might as well post a picture of my wheel and tires again

The wheels are 15 x 6.5".
The tires are 205/50-15 Toyo RA-1 (so you can see the bulging from most R-compound tires).

 

What are you so worried about? The sidewalls on A032Rs and Azenis are way stiff and you're definitely not going to have problems with rollover... I run 195 Azenis on a 5.5" wide rim and they're fine...

I wish i could, but the 195/50 Azenis wont' be available for at least another month and Advan doesn't have 195/50 so I can't have them mount both and compare.

 

Tony: hmm looks good. Definately not the mental image that I had in mind. I think the 205's should work just fine. I was worried about side wall flex. Thanks for the pic.

 

I ran 205's in the beginning...they wear-out alot faster...
Besides..the 225's Grip ALOT better..And Are Alot Fatter..
And look much better...205's look small..

So 225s will fit onto the stock rims? What about on some 15x7 koseis, could I possibly run even bigger?

 

this is exactly what you're looking for, 15 x 6.5 wheel and 205/50-15 A032 tires. As you can see they don't stick out that far. In the 3rd pic the car was jacked up so the fender gap looks pretty big.
