my gsr is bogging or studdering below 3k
anyone know what this could be? it kinda studders sometimes, but only below 3k rpm. I changed the plugs and I am ordering some wires, cap, and rotor. Its not throwing a code either.
check your distributor timing with a timing gun. sometimes, when the timing is off, it would make your car misfire or stutter like that. and if you haven't changed your fuel filter for 85k miles, now is the time to do it, they should be changed every 60k miles. could be clogged too, but i highly doubt it.

My car recently is doing the same thing. It is throwing misfire codes all the time and the CEL is always on, and there is a clicking noise coming from the engine that was never there before. The shitty part about everying is my car just started acting up when I got it tuned a month or so ago, never had a problem before that. Car has 70k.
do you have your A/C on? when i have my AC on, my car stutters when accelerating at/around 3k; it feels, and is slower all around in general with the AC on, but for some reason i feel a stutter at around 3k. i dunno why.
also, check fuel filter and injectors, if you have a fuel pressure regulator fuel pressure might be too low. Air, Fuel, Spark..... gotta be one right. process of elimination.... let me know what happens.
I had that same problem last week . Tune it up. Also use the cheap NGK copper plugs their better that the factory platium plugs cheaper they only wear out faster.

misfiring codes are usually just bad wires
