Default Price and availability of Titanium Piping..

I was trying to find someone who sells Ti Piping, any one know who sells just plain titanium pipes?

I want to make an ultra-lite, 2.75" mandrel bent, titanium exhaust system, to match up with my headertech header. If the Ti piping is too expensive, and it's not worth it, then i won't do it...but i want to find out the prices atleast...

Anyone know of any places that just sells straight ti piping?

I spoke to a guy who works for a metal supply company, he said he could get 2" pipe for 35$ a foot. I don't know how much 2.75". However, he also said that it would be special order since that is not what they usually carry. I imagine that one could find a better price from a company that exclusivly dealt with Ti.

That would be an excellent price!

Can you give me the name of that metal company? Website? Phone number. Thanks.

its available out there, just not as easy to find

you need to find a shop that works with metals, or a metal wholesaler/distributer.

you can buy all kinda of ti, in differetn shapes and forms.

and there are a ton of differetn grades out there.

thats a big mistake people dont understand when they buy ti retainers, they arent even using the same composition of metal.

i can ask around though if need be.

also maybe call a high end header fabricator. i can get u some numbers too if u need them.

edit: keep in mind, u will need to find someone that is good at welding, its not like welding most stuff

Actually, if I can't figure this out, im just running a 2.25" exhaust with an ES oval muffler, high flow car, and then running my 3" QTEC off the back of the header...so i can be really loud or really quiet...

Use a thin guage Stainless unless you want to spend quite a bit, and know how to weld Ti correctly.

Yeah I wanna get some info on this too. I have a an-r header and the amuse exhaust above is mine now(thank you Alan) in a 99' EK hatch. I need a short piece about 20" long to connect the two and was also thinking of making an intake out of some Ti as well.

an intake out of ti would be nuts... anyway ur probably better off just buying an already made b-pipe.
