Assuming you have a Base RSX, adding the A2 IM would decrease your low end torque. the A2 IM is designed for high RPM flow. The A3 IM in the base RSX has dual length runners that switch from short to long depending on engine RPM.

would the low end torqe make a big difference in my launch and would the dc5-r manifold make my ivtec engagement gnarlier.

i know the change over is at 2200 but you hear a little something at like 5200 is the IM going to change anything like that, make more noise then the A3 IM.

I currently have exhaust,CAI and the dc header. Im saving for data but i mean what else can i do to put a little more juice into that motor besides a $turbo$

i believe you answered your own question. go put a little juice in your motor if you want more power.

Well if you were to add a DC5R manifold you may be running lean. When the manifold is added onto a type S with out the DC5R cams you will run lean. So if that is the case you may be running a lot more leaner. This is not good for the motor.

I see you have the base and want more power to it. Just do the basic intake, header, exhaust combo and go from thier like hondata ( Highly recommended, and shows more hp gained then the type S). I think at the moment jackson racing is making a race header for the base, but you may want to check more into that. Good luck bro.

So you must have tried it so what were the A/F numbers ? Can it be tuned with any fuel controllers ?

The K20R manifold is 3mm over Tyoe-S and I am pretty sure it will benifit in the A3 with slight tuning as you know VTEC love intake when it kicks in.
