integra radiator into 92-95 civic
i was having problems with my civic fluidyne. car kept over heating after about 6-7 hard laps at the track, changed out my entire cooling system ( thermostate, fan switch, coolant ect.) and i couldnt stop getting hot. got a deal from a a friend to trade for a larger radiator. install was simple to intermediate depending if you have any skills with a welder. removed both lower radiator mounts and ac mounts. then move passenger side mount over 1 inch, and remounted driver side mount accordingly. total time for install 30 min. car takes a little longer to heat up now, but hasnt gotten hot on me yet.

thanks for hi jacking my post you dam pirates.
yeah, i re welded in the mounts. ill no longer be able to run ac with this setup now.
have a stock civic fluidyne radiator in my brothers ek, but its a 2 liter setup and doesnt rev as high as the civic R motor i have. i think thats primarily why i was getting so hot.

threadstarter... it takes a while to heat up? that should be controlled by the thermostat, so you may want to look into a different thermostat or another option is a different pressure rated radiator cap.

damn man.. i can't beleive you overheated with the civic fluidyne.. thats crazy hottness.. You must have a JDM engine bay or something.. it's too hot to handle!
I was overheating at the track, too, /w the civic fluidyne unit. Hasn`t done it since then on the streets or dyno. Maybe it`s just not enough for a high compression b20 setup.
