Default Kubo almost in the 7's!!

(W) Lisa Kubo (APC Saturn Motorsports '03 Ecotec0.170 8.063 185.36
(L) Shaun Carlson ('03 SRT-4) -9.999(R) NT-No Show

Carlson had too much parts breakage in the qualifying session to continue, so Lisa's bright red Saturn will have a single. Could we see a seven second pass?
ALMOST! The APC team is all smiles after this pass, the car made just a couple of wiggles on the way to the finish line. Lisa will have a bye run in round two.

Props to Paul who had his first 8 second run only last month with an 8.97 at the NCRA event at Toronto Motorsports Park. My god Iw as shocked to see the 8.66 myself. Props to Paul, and the rest of the team splitfire and JRP car. Good job guys!!!

Yeah, Paul, he is pretty funny.

I told all you Canada guys to bring it down to the states, and we'd show you good track conditions...
Raceway Park..., still my favorite!

Big ups to Lisa, Scott, Leslie, Gary!

Conrats to Paul and the TurboSmart crew. Yup Paul is Running good old leaded gas. Have a safe trip home! I couldn't go because of school projects. (I know it sounds corny as hell)
BTW I'm the foo who takes all the NCRA and Canadian import events pics.

Kubo came out of the hole good it look like in the final, but then something happened. It would have been a real good run by the looks of the launch. Oh well, good luck to Charlie and the rest of the Kubo team at Pomona.
