Default Need help wiring JDM fender side-markers..

First of all, this is my first post here. Thank you to anyone in advance who has some information for me.

I recently put the J-Spec front end onto my CRX. Everythings functional and I love it.. Just got one question.

The fender indicators, everyone seems to wire these up by extending the signal bulb from the corner light to the new amber indicator tucked into the fender. This works fine, but as I'm sure you all know they light up with the headlights / accessories and stay lit up at night. I don't want this.

Is there any way to wire them up so they ONLY light up when the 4 way hazards are flashed and when you signal to make a turn.. even with the headlights on? I know this can be done but I'm not aware of a safe way. Plus the fact that they alternate ( the bumper light and the fender indicator ) rather than blink at the same time when the headlights are on, is kinda odd looking too.

Once again, thanks for any help.

Have you done that? People tell me it will overload it and blow the fuse it runs on.. I forgot to throw that in my original post.

I'll give it a shot. Thank you.

I'd say he's going for the OHH look at my orange lenses! He probably wants it to function like they were on the original car. Personally I can't stand to see people's fender lights always on, especially the ones with the white/clear ones.
But whatever floats your boat

Yeah, at night I had a friend drive my car and I watched him drive away and those orange lights are just too bright to be on all the time.

And you hit it right on the hammer.. I want it to function like it's SUPPOSED to. I'm not trying to confuse and distract people with them.. because afterall, they're really bright.
