Default f22b auto tranny swap?

Recently My friend bought a f22b for his accord and doesn't need the auto tranny for it, my tranny is about to go shortly so I told him I'd pick it up. Is it worth $300. Is there any benefit to the tranny over my stock OEM tranny. any advice is greatly appreciated.

if it's a jdm f22b transmission, the gearing will be the same as the usdm h23a1's auto gearing.

thus, shorter.

edit: the acceleration with the dohc f22b transmission will be quicker than the stock f22/f23 tranny, whatever year accord you have.

would putting a prelude auto tranny on a f22b1 (i think i have 1, maybe 2) make my car faster? because of the shorter gears?

Will the shorter gears make the car, noticeably faster? From what I've found the difference is so small that any gains might not even be noticeable.

accelerate faster BUT also tops out faster. shorter gears is not good for any future plans of boosting or any forced induction.
