yes it will work i know of at least 3 delsols with h22 in them and i think delsols and 92-95 civics had the same engine bay and i know of alot of civics with h22s in them so yes it will work

Lot's of power, but I HEARD it causes over steer since the motor is a lot heavier.

Yes, it can certainly be done... it's the same engine bay as the 92-95 civic. It requires special motormounts, and axles. Although I agree with the fact that it's a slightly heavier motor, but if you do your suspension right, it's not as big of a deal. Obviously the lighter the motor with the same suspension the lighter will handle better, but I'm not about to get into that debate again. The h22 swap is a good one, and it pretty close to what I'm doing in my hatch.

the h22 weighs 80lbs more than a b16. So if you have a 2092 lbs civic with a d16, use some good spring rates and shocks, you will have a good handling car. Put the b16 in, ( +60lbs?) and the car will seep down just a little and not handle quite as well, so you get stifer srping rates.
Use the h22, and your car will weigh 2230 lbs. Not even the weight of an Integra. A del sol would weigh about the same as an integra with the same engine.
So just get stiffer springs. Handling isnt sacrificed as much as you thing when you put in a h22.

nope, it really isn't going to effect it that much. that was the point I was trying to make actually. i just wanted to make sure that I addressed both points, so it doesn't turn into another b18 vs h22 thread

 

i think it's a badass swap,it only adds 80-85 lbs to the front,the only thing i don't like about H22A civics/del sols/integras is the placement of the axles and how easy it is to snap them. VERY badass swap though

EDIT: i suggest using the HASport mount kit.

 

Great swap for the car, doesn't effect handling at all if you go with higher spring rates and don't drive like a retard.

 

what axles would you have to use?

 

h22 fit will fit perfect with some help from an HCP mount kit. get integra spring rate springs and shocks and you wont notice a difference in ur handeling.
