LISTEN UP people heres my story your gonna love it hate it or just laugh......I was coming back from HOT IMPORT NIGHTS in chi-town last night in my b16 CRX we stop to kick it afterwards and meet up with some kids that we dont know to race....anyway this b18c Delsol rolls up...we get the talkin and he wants to race...so i was like NO cuz i didnt want too but ************* peer-pressured me so we line up anyway....im a ***** and i knew i was gonna loose if i didnt spray so i decided to cheat...so we line up...and go and i spray...im fine 1st therw 3rd and the most fucked up thing happends....my dumbass went to go to 4th and i go to SECOND gear!!!! it was over....my B16 BLEW THE **** UP....in front of like 30 cars...there was like a 50 foot cloud of smoke....my motor was gone....i had to get it towed...all i know is thers a hole the size of my fist all the way through the ****** block and i dont know what to do....i shouldnt have sprayed...i hate spray...im just a ***** and im using it until i start to boostnext month...anyway i need u guys help....should i get another b16?...i have like 2gs in the bank and i want a b18c. even thought theres a hole in the block do u think my head is gone too....it was so dark i dont know what happened...all i know is that thers antifrezze EVERYWHERE and a big *** HOLE IN MY ****....please let me know how much a GSR will run me cuz to be honest...my b16 was dissapointing as hell....it didnt pull NEAR as hard as some of my freinds b16's...maybe the motor was just beat to death i mean it was a 1990 first gen...but it was weak(even though sometimes it helds its own)....so yeah thats my story i would appreciate u guy's moral support but if people wanna just make fun of me...im so depressed and scared about my car right now....i wont even care...thanks in advance for everyones help........and just in casee your wondering.......i had 2 cars on the ****** sol by the end of 3rd gear......and if that bastard happens to be reading this right now.....**** YOU!!!!!

OK first off no I dont think you should get another motor swap period if all your going to do is street race with it. I mean come on peer pressure??!! What are you 12 and someone is handing you a cigarette??!!

Head might be fine but you wont know till you pull it off and look at it.

As for telling the guy "**** You" that you raced first its not his fault your a moron and its also not his fault you sprayed or shifted into the wrong gear!! You need to learn how to take the blame for what you did and quit trying to blame someone else for your stupidity!!

i agree, your an idiot for street racing, and you deserve to get your car blown up. and now you blame this mishap on the other guy. i would suggest putting the car back to original condition, and practice shifting before you spend more money on a better engine that you can handle. besides that leaves one more engine for someone else that knows what their doing to get it...and be safe it only takes one stupid mishap to ruin yours and someone innocently driving by...

 

now you know and knowing is half the battle(GI JOE)..rebuild it get rid of the nos and dont do anymore street racing,get parts that will make your motor more reliable and you should be happy from now on..good luck

 

hey thanks for the support yea the spray is gone as of tommorow...and belive it or not ******** i know how to drive...EVERYONE makes mistakes i dont care if yourve been driving for 2 or 30 f*ckin years EVERYONE misses a gear of stalls once in a while....keep in mind it was like 3 in the morning(which is another reason i shouldnt've been out but i know that now) ANYWAY u guys have been great...thanks for the support and criticism its trully appreciated but like i said i thank GOD to be alive...and NO ONE is dead cuz of my stupidity and thats something to be thankful for....peace

Common sense

A real answer to your main question, what should you do now....
You've had a B16 in your car, that means most likely you have all the external parts for it, wiring, mounts, etc.... buy a block, not a full swap, just the block off whatever seller you choose.. Nippons good.. Then put it in, you shouldn't have to replace anything other than the engine itself. I bet you could get it under 1000 easy.

Or you could check for people doing swaps in your area and ask if you can have their old D series in exchange for some of your B16 parts, theres a cheap solution.

Also, you're obviously a streetracer tard' talkin about Nitrous being "cheating".. maybe in highschool but its a perfectly valid way to increase your cars HP. dork.
