i dont think you can smoke those slicks.. i dotn think that there is enough meat on them to smoke them..
i have run them for over a year and have never smoked them..but maybe i dont know how to burn out well.. my best 60 ft is a 1.81..

i really think it depends on the track. i used my 22/8/15s for the last 2 yrs. with full sheetmetal and same motor i have now i pulled a 1.80 60'. now im pullin anywhere from 1.63-1.75s.
but back to the track thing. on an asphalt track i can barely get them to smoke like yesterday, but at any other track they smoke good, specially at our hometown track.

exedy clutch....i have a video and i can clearly see the wheels spinning......on 2nd gear at 7500 rpm...........ive seen cigarettes give out more smoke........on the 22x8x15's my best 60 was a 2.150 and last week i went for "street cars only"on my azenis and got a 2.200...............rediculous.........im going again soon.....lower psi on slicks and power shifting that ****...oh btw 186 whp and 140 tq 13.53@102,,,best
i could never get thme to hook really, but they did smoke , not alot, but i got them to smoke , but the thing is , they dont need to be smoked if they are MIckeys, they just need a quick scrub
i run the same slicks and can smoke 'em till the cows come home if need be. one thing i noticed was a very wet water box and rollout lane makes it a little more difficult to smoke. but, i dont really try to get them to smoke like crazy anyway.
i just do a 2nd gear burnout starting w/ the e-brake up, then let the brake down while still hammering in 2nd gear. once past the rollout area, the slicks will smoke, chirp, and grab. when they start to grab is when i back off the throttle a bit.
always worked for me although my best 60 to date on them is only 1.91. 2300lb Accord w/ driver, open diff, and probably a massive 130whp.

here's how i did it in that vid...
roll into the water box, al lthe way to the edge, then back up again to the front edge of the water
ebrake all the way up, 2nd gear, rev it up and drop the clutch, goose the gas and watch the smoke encompass the car....drop the ebrake, clutch in, let the tires pull you out of the water box
