help:making a cai....... good or bad ??
i was planning on making my own cold air intake but some ppl say that on a crx u will lose low end torque but gain high end hp
is this true ??
and does anyone know a website that can show me how to make one ??

That's true. With a stock air box you'll have better low end. But you rather have high end, especially if you shift at 8000 or whatever. At the track I took out the headlight and ran no filter. That alone gained me 2mph at the end up of the track and a 1/10th or two faster in the quarter mile. Try out the cold air. That **** be working, even laundry hoses with ridges. You'll probably run faster with it.

so what do other crx owners think about the cai ??
I had one of the team del sol style intakes on my old hatch and liked it. only prob was that I ended up relocating my battery b/c I made the piping go straight through b/c it woulda been way too many bends to go around the battery. w/ my new hatch, I bought a cheap CAI off of ebay for $65. cant really beat that
