Dynoed my JDM B18c today
As the topic says I dynoed my car today wit a JDM B18c GSR motor. My set up consist of just a AEM SRI and Apexi N1 cat-back. My numbers were 160whp and 124 lbs tq. Those numbers are with the motor UNTUNED so I aslso found out that my car is running very lean up top which is hurting my powerband, and also that my Vtec is kickin in too early and needs to be set back to 5k something. They told me that the best thing i can do right now to solve both problems is to get a Vafc and dyno it again so they can tune it. So once i get the Vafc they said i could expect to possibly see 170 to the wheels which would be nice for just intake and exhuast.

for just the aem sir and n1 cat back...thats NUTTY! When i dynoed my gsr...i had chipped ecu, skunk2 im, aem short ram, header, greddy exhaust, and ctr intake cam.....and only got 167whp and 129lbs of torque...your pretty close to what i got! Do the jdm b18c's differ from the usdm b18c's...? or did you just happen to get a "gifted" swap?
its suppose to be JDM 180 USDM 170 HP so dont feel bad. I didnt see a Apexi V-afc in your set up. If u dont have one i advise you to get one and dyno tune it because today was the second day that I have seen first hand what those things can do when they are professionally dyno tuned.

those are great numbers. if im not mistaken, the only difference between jdm and usdm GSR's is the jdm version has slightly higher compression pistons, by a few points.
Hit the Print Screen Button and then paste it into an image editing program like Photoshop, crop the image to get the Windows frame out (if you want), and resize. Photoshop is nice b/c it automatically scales the new image template to whatever the image size is in the clipboard. Other programs might be just as easy to use if you don't have PS. I haven't used anything else, even tho I also have Fireworks MX on this computer.

Just got back from Eurosport Accessories in Anaheim today for their VW/Audi Dyno day and I decided to show up with my B18C Civic DX and my Jetta 1.8T (Had a friend drive the Jetta). Have a E-bay Short RAM intake, the Stock DX Cat (from D15B7 engine), and RSR exhaust. Running Mobil 1 Syntheic oil 5w30, 91 octane fuel, and 1 bottle of $0.99 Octane booster from Big Lots.
I put down:
161.2whp @7400 rpm
121.6wft-lbs @ 6000 rpm
I'll try to get the graph up tomorrow.
For those curious the Jetta 1.8T put down:
198.7 whp @ 6000rpm
224.2 wft-lbs @ 3000rpm (yes, mad torque @ 3000rpm)
