Sport FWD guys, how strict is NHRA about the exhaust rules?

Sport FWD guys, how strict is NHRA about the exhaust rules?
I just read that full exhaust and mufflers are required, all the other sanctioning bodies allow open exhuast in their street classes, what are you guys doing?

Well, being that i sat in the stands today at nhra etown instead of racing because i have no exhaust, iid say their pretty strict. They teched the **** out of all the cars.

So what kind of exhaust/muffler are the really fast cars like jason hunt, brian fischer, etc.. running?

I know Jason has a 4" exhaust MIGHT as well be downpipe out LOUD!
