Motor swap this! :)
j00 got it fixed the same time I did.
I would like to put that motor into a ITR body and make it RWD..
Maybe that would be a little bit too hard.

yeah man. the story goes like this....
first my fuel pump pickup wasn't sitting on the bottom of the tank. i thought my pump was going. after 2 passes of sputtering down the track i guess i decided to figure it out. The first pass though was 12.8 @97.xx mph. that was good enough to put me at number 3 in the final 4. In the semi's my spark plug wire blew off and it chugged down track shutting off 2 times. I limped back to the pits...wire tied the spark plug boots and went for some timed runs for the brackets since i was out of the heads up. first pass was 12.6 @ 107.xx mph. There wasn't anyone in line so i went around for another pass to see how close i can get to the 12.6 for the bracket racing about to begin. horrible pass..missing shift and all. i thought my axle was broke from the sounds it was making. brought it to the pits and yanked on the passenger axle. it felt a bit goofy. so 20 or so minutes later i had another axle in there. took it for a spin....and every little tiny turn....KAKLUNK. I pulled it back to my spot and jacked up the driver side. As soon as i jacked up the driver side the tranny fluid started to drip out pretty fast. I got under the car quick and saw this thing that looked the size of a spot weld near one of the tranny bolts. Thats when i noticed it was shinny and more the likely the open diff dropped down. The hole is about the size of a pencil erraser and can be repaired. Looks like it needs a new diff(got one..lsd)and the case spot welded. all the gears work perfect so thats a good thing. Obviously i didn't race at Atco sunday. thats the story....
nice meeting you too dude

The last pictures is DRT's civic, I take it. Sorry to hear the for the mishaps. I know you run those msd wires just to make contigency money. But MSD wires suck, they pop off and cause all kinds of problems. I think you should just put the stock wires back in and eliminate atleast one problem that you were having. Did greg win the finals? I heard he ran 12.4 in that ls/vtec hatch?

No...he lost against fred ellis. yeah...he built a hell-of-a-car. he just doesn't say much about it and talks it down. I know better. its a 2 liter btw.
I ran the msd's not for contingency money(thats not one of them)...but because they were shitloads better then another brand i was using which didn't fit correctly over the spark plugs. I'm going to use moroso's next.
