Default Ok, thanks for the help!--to .RJ:

I just wanted an opinion. No I didn't drive any these cars. What I said in my question was that I've scoured the internet(not the streets) looking for information.

I was hoping for guidance. I have alot of respect for this site so I was asking my fellow enthusisasts for their opinion on what would be the best car buy realistically.

What I didn't expect was to be made fun of.

I've looked at the overall site and this area seemed the closest to what I was looking for.

Since I'm new to the scene, I am sincerely looking for a car to build up while retaining streetability, since I cannot afford to have more than one car.

Maybe as a moderator, you should be more tolerant and really understand when someone is asking legitimate questions politely-- like what car platform to use?

I asked the this same question in v6performance.com, and someone actually gave me their
opinion-- like why so few cars? why not include the evo and sti?

So I don't understand all this sarcasm.

Check out the forum guidelines for the future - this is a forum that
focuses on competition topics - not on street cars for "adrenaline
boosting". If you want a real adrenaline boost, then get out on track. Your
**** doesnt even have to be all that fast to have fun.

And by 'looking into' the cars i have a hard time beliveing that you've
gone out and driven each one, determined what it will cost you per
month, what your gas will cost you per month, what your insurance will cost
you, laid out the pros/cons of each and actually done some thinking
about it, because the price range of your cars range from $3,000 to
$30,000.

I think i was pretty clear with my reply. You still havent read the forum guidelines. If you want an opinion on a fun street car, then this really is not the place.

Try posting it in the General Discussion forum. And refrain from using the word "whip" or any variation thereof - it makes the post sound much less intelligent.. If you remember, they are still called "cars".
