Looking for the previous owner of a 1982 Tan CVCC in Hookset NH area junkyard
I was camping in NH over the weekend and found my way to a Junkyard that was right off RT 3. in Hookset New hampshire I think. There was a 1982 Tan colored Honda CVCC siting in the back of the junkyard almost untouched. Had around 40,000 miles on it. The Owner of the junkyard was very adament that the car was not for sale as a whole and could only be parted out as it was the wish of the last owner to not have it be purchased and put on the road again. I offered ALOT more money than I should have and he would not budge.
Im looking for the previous owner of the car, that gave it to the junkyard. Im trying to find a good explanation as to why such a nice condition car has to rot away in a junkyard instead of being brought back to life. Im also looking for permission from the previous owner to allow me to purchase the car to restore it. If anyone has any information, or if the owner is here, Id like to know more info about the car's history.

Only info I can provide is that in 1982, the Civic was just known as a Civic. The CVCC moniker was dropped at the 1980 year.
