Default new 90 Si tranny won't go into 3rd, 4th

I just installed the D16A6/Si tranny into my CRX DX. Finished the MPFI conversion. It started right up, first try. But now when I hooked up the shift linkage, it won't go into 3rd or 4th. I still need to put the left axle in before I can take if for a drive and shift it while it's moving. What do you think it could be? Bent 3-4 shift fork? A little history, I had the tranny open to swap syncros, and everything inside looked pretty clean when I had it apart. I'm pretty sure I put everything back together right.

Damn, I don't want to drop the tranny again. Especially since the new motor runs so good...

the only thing i could think of would be the synchros of the clearences. i would have all clearences checked to make sure of proper measurements, as that could be the cause of your troubles.
