i am trying to put the factory stereo back in my car... i cut the factory wiring harness to install an aftermarket. i found a new plug that will replace my factory one but now the keyless entry does not work. and my srs light is on. can anyone help me fix this mess........

 

solder the wires back together. and next time NEVER cut your facory harness (they make adaptors )

 

i dont have the factory plug i cut....i tossed it like an idiot.....im dealing with an aftermarket plug that is "supposed" to be just like the factory original.

 

try to find another factory plug/plugs and soder them back together. Try not snipping the factory plugs next time, as mentioned earlier there are kits for almost every car that will allow you to run an aftermarket radio easily.

for some reason, the radio in the newer cars also run the keyless entry.

 

yea ****... i has this problem on my ex... the alarm, srs and some other **** maybe teh abs im not sure but its all coneected on the outside of the radio what you have to do is buy a spearate harness that goes from the stock radio to the aftermarket (just the power ground and acc. wire) i think it was like 15 buck im not really sure where i got it but i think schoshe makes it.. and right now my stock radio is in the glove box until i get a new alarm......
