Need wiring help asap
Ok i bought a 91 civic hatch shell that had a first gen b16 in it before
well when the engine was removed so was the engine harness
Now i need help and need to no what has to be done so i can put my y8 motor into it.
So i am trying to wire it up for mpfi but since it already had a b16 in it the ecu wires are already cut and labeled and such but i cant figure out where to start
Any help will be very appriciated

Believe it or not, you don't have to make any changes at the ECU.
The problem is out at the engine bay. The B16 and any D series MPFI engine uses the same ECU pin out WITH THE EXCEPTION of the VTEC wires.
So you need to know how they wired the injectors, and how they wired the distributor. Again at the engine, not the ECU.
Ihate to tell you this, but from looking at the pictures you are in a world of hurt.
They rewired the original car harness. So you are going to have to trace mainly the Distributor wires and the injector wires. Make a new harness and try it out.
If you lived in Orlando, I could do it for you.

But could i just cut the distributor and the injector wires and just run them
Meaning cut them from where they are right now and just add on to them just like doing a mpfi swap on a dx</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes. Cut them at the ECU.
Run new wires and do the MPFI part again.
the problem is the people who wired the car before tapped into the original car harness, so you now have a harness that has been modified. you are going to have to idenify which wires they added or cut.

See this plug. they modified it. when you plug the new harness some of the wires might not go to the right locations, because that is something they did , not the factory.

what you should do is pick up a decent multimeter and set it to continuity, and just test each wire that was modified. that way you will know which wire is going where, that way you don't have to run new wiring, just switch spots
