So Wednesday night around 6:30 we decide to throw an LS in my car. We get it in by 10 and it runs niiiiice. I have never had a swap so this is a huge change for me. Well I took it to the track tonight. Its an eighth mile btw. First time up I run a damn 10.3 w/ a 2.5 60ft. ARGH!!! Spun em through 2nd hahaha. So the next time up, Chad drives my car and pulls a 9.6 w/2.2 60ft. Now Im pissed. I run it and get high 9's all night. So I get up next to an M3 and they asked before what I was running, i told them high 9's cause i was. So I get up pull a 2.2 60ft and a 9.4 hahaha. They got a little pissy. Turns out I knew the driver and told him what I had. They thought I was shootin juice haha. oh well

Oh yeah this is in a 92 cx with 195/50-15 pirellis gutted but with back seat and spare in place (last minute decision) and stock LS engine with stock intake arm and filter.

and the exhaust didnt bolt up so im running open header.

 

haha did the swap in 3 hours and 30 mins.. lol awesome

 

i have an LS swap in my 94 dx hatch....gotta love the torque!!! very fun to drive,easy swap to do....glad to see everything worked out for you. i have a clutchmasters stage 3 clutch and flywheel on my LS and damn i LOVE it!

i second you on that one. dyno'd and ran at the tracks with my LS-turbo and the LS 3rd is just about the same as the GSR 4th!! also at the tracks, i noticed that my rpm gauge dropped quite a bit when shifting to 3rd. with the GSR tranny...i just flew thru all the gears and accelerated WAY faster than i did with the LS tranny.

 

yeah, I had the GSR tranny on my b20 swap. damn i love those gears... and DAMN do i hate my dx tranny i have no.. arg...
