Another wannabe 400 whp guy....help
After Ben's tuning seminar, the horsepower bug bit me even harder
. My plan in the near future is to get the most of out of my turbo. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 350-400 hp. I currently have maxrev turbo kit with the following:
maxrev mani (duh)
garrett t3/t04e, 57 trim, .63 a/r
hondata s200
440 cc injectors
walbro 255
stock ignition
91 B18A stock internals
Now, questions:
--The DA will still be 1/2 drag 1/2 street car. Do you guys think that's a realistic hp goal for 94 octane pump gas?
--Can the maxrev mani hold that much hp?
--LS 7k redline too low? Upgrade valvetrain to rev higher or just build up a b16a to 84mm? Opinions?
I have tried to digest too much h-t knowledge in the last few weeks
. Between reading compressor maps, learning all the garrett turbo family sizes, and PV=NrT, my brain is fried.......Any advice would be appreciated.
