Turbo for my R
I just got my ITR a few months ago and now I'm ready to drop in a turbo. Overall, what kind of turbo would be the most beneficial as far as response, torque, peak hp and reliability. T3, T4, T3/T4, GT, etc.?

in the upper right corner is a search button.
T3/4 hybrid is the way to go. Why don´t just buy a DRAG III kit, standalone ECU and 440cc injectors and be happy?

i use to fi my itr itr make big hp on fi but tuning is the key whit your 10.6 compression you cant go upper 7 psi on 91 gaz pump whit lotes of retard , mine was at 8 deg.
an i/c is a must whit your stock compression or youl blow for sure.

Re: Turbo for my R (DLB1994)
Thanks so much for the reply. But also, if I lower the CR to 9.0:1 would I be able to raise my boost level. If so, what kind of modifacations would I need to think about doing?

lower the compression to 9.6:1
tune it with the hondata which works just like a stand alone except its cheaper and u dont have to work from scratch..

Re: Turbo for my R (turbo01gsr)
come on now guyz i've heard of people tuning really good with a hondata and 8psi of boost on a stock type R other than a new headgasket and blowing the crap out of their motors.....turbo's are too much upkeep and not very fast on the street IMO
they do sound very intimidating though

Apparently the C5 Vette I KILLED the other night is slow because my turbo integra is "not very fast on the street"....
And turbo cars are not hard to upkeep IF properly installed and TUNED.

Re: Turbo for my R (turbopimp)
i say get a set of Toda spec Bs, cam gears, valves, valve springs, retainers and hondata....oops..wrong topic..
but i do give another vote on a drag3/revhard with hondata....be sure to put in a good clutch to hold the power
