weight of LS wheels?
does anyone know the weight of LS steel wheels with hubcaps? Trying to decide on whether to go with 15's that weigh 12lbs or 16's that weigh 16lbs. Any suggestions..
i heard somebody weighed them and it was like 15.01 pounds? the gsr wheels... that they have on 00 ls'z....
any1 kno?
which 15 inch wheels are you lookin at that way 12 pounds? im curious.... thats real light for street rims

all honda 15" aluminium wheels off Integras and Civics (USDM) are in 15-17lbs range, they are very heavy indeed...
as far as 12lbs vs 15lbs wheel the difference is noticeable indeed, not only on the acceleration but on suspension and brakes....
i have set of integra wheels (mesh, about 16lbs each wheel, with tire they are about 34lbs(195/50/15)), when i use those vs my PRs (which are about 12lbs(29lbs with tires)) the difference is amazing, not only its quicker but feel more livly and doesn't stress the suspension
so whatever your choice is a good lightweight rim (Rota or PR), is perfect for the streets, oem rims are meant to be durable therefore heavy (unless they would spent $$$ on lightweight materials)

Gimme a day or two... I should get my momo's back from powdercoating tommorrow..... I am currently rolling on the steelies 14", when I take 'em off I'll weigh em with tires and let you all know.... if someone else doesn't do it first....heh heh heh
