Default Stroked B16 Question

What do you think on using the B18c1 crank, the B16a rods with the pistons from Toda stroker?
Can you get from any other source those pistons?

you can get the piston anywhere for half the price of the toda's. Wiseco, JE, CP, Ross, anyone of them can make you a custom piston for alot tless than the Toda piece. Just tell them what block with what crank and they can make you a piston with the aprporiate compression height. As for the b16 rods, they will have to be shimmed a bit to work. The B16 rod is a little wider than the journals on the GSR crank. This isnt anything to worry about in terms of sacrificing rod strength or durability, its been done to death and has ran excelent. this particular set up is really nice for the street and strip, its been used in both road race and drag race ap's... its basicly the same as the JUN and Toda set ups... if you were to use forged rods/pistons and a honda crank youll have yourself a damn good rotating assembley. The r/s ratio is exactly the same as an LS block being 1.54 so reving it out wont be a problem.

Discounting the fact that the GSR crank would require rods with a smaller big end than your b16 rods. The GSR crank has 10.2mm more stroke than the b16 crank. The b16 rods even assuming they could be connected to the GSR crank(which they cannot), are now way too long. Like 5mm too long.
