I'm looking for a replacement driver's side fender and they look to run around a hundred bucks. But, another thing I've seen is all the Z3 fiberglass fenders which are a hundred bucks a pair.

Why can't I get OE style fiberglass fenders for $100? This doesn't make sense. The only place I found OE style fiberglass fenders, they where $250 for a pair.

Is it possible to buy the Z3 fenders and just cover up the section with the slats in it(Z3 style portion). How hard would this type of fiberglass work be. I've done plenty of bondo work before, but never fiberglass. Can I just bondo it?

Your wish is my command. I have z3 fenders on my rex and I love em. I still have my OEM ones. There silver and in sick good condition minus a few paint bubbles around the edges which you could easily grind off. The passenger one is pretty dinged up with small dents but you dont even need it so would you take just the driver side. Pm me if youre interested

 

cut the slats out... grab some fiberglass mat and resin from PepBoys - apply a few layers front and back. Then sand like a mother. All done...

If they're fiberglass OEM style I'm interested, otherwise I'll just go the route sparq suggested.

hey where did u find the oem fibreglass fenders? been looking for them since i had my eg and now that im moving to EFs i wanna know where to get them.....

I'll try to find the link, but I just found it searching on google. Some shop in florida, does all kind of fiberglass parts. Mantaray motorsports does them as well I think.

I'm just going with the Z3 style fenders. I figure I'll just shave them. Much much cheaper.

remember the fiber glass don't always fit 100% alot of work is needed to be done if you are goin to get z-3 get the metal ones

 

if you know where to get metal z3 fenders i would be suprised, i have never seen a metal z3 fender for a crx.(not that i want them)
