I have had a G -Tech Pro for about 6 weeks now and it is pretty cool. The only thing I have done is 0-60 times. The best time I have gottten is a 6.6. Just out of curiosity, I put it in my g/f's Saturn and ran a 1/4 mile (by accident, suppose to be doing 0-60) and her car ran a 17.3 at 78 mph. I made fun of her for the rest of the day because she traded her 95 TSI Talon in on it.

Well, I hope they are at least a little inaccurate being that it plugs in your lighter. From what the guy said that I barrowed it from said the are about .03 off or something like that. Still, it gives you some sort of idea what you and your car is doing.

it's pretty accurate, but i heard that since it doesn't start til you start moving, your times are usually faster on the gtech. reaction time doesn't matter with a gtech.

LOL, they are actually pretty accurate. I can run 0-60 in the 6.0x range. The silicon accelerator chip in the G-Tech is accurate to .01 of a second, but they say to use a correction factor of plus or minus .1 This more than compensates for any errors that could be present.

I have had a G-Tech Pro for about 2 years now. I also took it to the drag strip to compare times. It is very accurate but shows about .1 - .2 seconds faster than at the drag strip in 1/4 mile time. I think this has to do with the G-Tech starting at first movement while the timing lights at the drag strip have to be completely tripped to start.

I've had one for a couple of years now and they aren't all that accurate, but close enough. It usually gives me a .2 faster time than the clock at the strip.
