Well, seems the time has come, where im going to trade my crx for a prelude. Im just sick of the cops following me around and stuff, and i need a car for winter as well, living on the east coast and all. So this is what my car has, and i will be trading it for a stock prelude, keeping my rims, and his has audio inside the car as well. He said all the belts/altenator, etc have been changed over every 50k miles. Am i getting a good trade, or any suggestions?-

I know what it's like to be harassed all the time. Just trade it man. Ludes are really nice too. Just depends on what you want. You'll miss your rex though. I would..
I had a '90 DX that I got rid of for a '94 Si Prelude w/36k miles. (for sale w/41K right now.)
They are both really nice cars. I have recently bought another EF ('89 CRX Si) and I wish I could keep both. H23 Preludes are bad-***!
I guess it depends how nice your CRX is and how attatched you are. If you get rid of the CRX, chances are you'll be back soon, but the Prelude is so nice for daily driving.
Tough Call really.
Oh, and I'm not sure you can use those rims on the Prelude if that's what you were planning on doing. The Preludes are 4x114.3 and the EF's are 4x100.

i wouldn't do it. you can probably sell your crx for much more money than the lude is worth.
its your call...if you were trading + cash then maybe that would be a better deal, but a straight up trade i don't think its worth it.

if its not the VTEC lude DONT DO IT!!!!!

keep the rex....i still have mine but is sitting there with no engine.....i now have a ej6 but everyday i still regret it..........thats why im going to always keep the rex....bc it will be back........
Do you really want to drive a bloated pig? I say keep the CRX. Find a nice beater 4g Civic hatch or sedan to drive in the winter. Or a 4wd Wagovan but then I will have to drive to where you live and take it from you because I want one as well. Don't say you can't have more than one car I have 7 Hondas and a Honda motorcycle. Just insure one at a time and keep the other in storage and tell your insurance company that the other car is in storage. Yeah I know I need to sell a couple of the Civic hatches soon.
Ive had both a 96 VTEC lude and an 88 B16 CRX and let me tell you the CRX was much more fun to drive...but the Lude was way more comfortable and "pimpish".
depends on what you want out of the car.

i hate to see my car go, but the cops definatly harass me ALOT, like ive gotten alot of **** for just having one of the only crx's around like that, cause they know who i am. Also, now im just lookin for something thats decently fast, but comfy, and not so loud, the cops are real jerks around here. So if anyone wants my rex, its $4500, its definatly a steal at this price, ive put ALOT into it.
