I just installed a vafc 2 and im having a few problems. All settings are still at stock. When going from low to high cam it doesnt engage as quickly as it did stock, it kind of stutters. Also ocassionally when shifting from 1st to 2nd it will be out of vtec when I hit second and come back on at 6000 RPMs. Im not sure what the problem is wiring is good and the vafc is brand new. Any input would help. Thanks in advance. Easy

 

maybe you should set your vtec engagement, thats what i had to do with my vafc1. dont know if its the same tho.

 

Yeah ive messed with the engagement point but no matter where I set it, it still stutters. Thanks though

 

Did you calibrate it correctly for your car?

 

Yes I did the intial setup and everything...6 in 6 out for sensors correct?

 

yeah thats right...i experienced no vtec when none of the maps or anything was set. try setting it for stock vtec and give it some fuel throughout the vtec range

It shouldnt run worse than stock when i havent touched any of the settings. Im welding an O2 sensor to my exhaust this week to tune with my brothers wideband. So it will be tuned soon enough, im just trying to figure out why its running shitty at stock settings.
