Default OBD0 to OBD1 harness question

i have a home made OBD conversion harness i bought from a person that used it on a obd1 b16a in a crx. The harness connects the obd0 crx si harness to my obd1 p30 ecu an 8 wires are splice btwn the two plugs. He says wires 1-4 are O@ sensor wire, wire 5 and 6 are vtec wire, wire 8 is for knock sensor. However, he can not remember what wire 7 is for? does anyone know? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Is it a yellow/black wire? If so, it should go to the "gray plug" you're supposed to use when converting to obd1.

I used to make home made conversion harnesses like that and only remember having 4-6 wires coming out of the harness, never 8.

good luck,
Lester
