T3 water fitting HELP!

Default T3 water fitting HELP!

I have a t3 water cooled turbo from a saab, the water fitting is 3/8" NPT becuase I double checked at Home Depot with other 3/8" NPT fittings. But when I ordered a -6an to 3/8" NPT it barely goes in about 1 thread..... I dont know what I should do. Tap the housing? Help me please

NPT fitting will not let all the threads in, they are tapered and that's how they seals. Try to clean the threads with a wire brush and make sure you have an even threads to start with. Are you sure you have a 3/8" male pipe on the adapter ?
