Ok, so I know my stuff when it come to the B16A... but get this: I'm the guy that couldn't get his knock sensor out of the head, so I simply screwed it into the tranny. Weird right? So tonight I was coming home in 4th gear at 60 mph... (S1 Tranny). Then my Knock sensor code throws... code 23. I'm confused, my engine reacted in a different way though... it didn't retard the timing?!? I'm like WTF?? The ECu still thinks the sensor is in the Head, so why didn't it retard VTEC? Here's the weird thing, VTEC happens at 5200 like normal, but kind of bogs... then, when I pull from a stop, VTEC litterally hits harder than EVER BEFORE. I just wanted to see if it would transition, but it took off. Am I wrong about the Code 23? If I'm not, should I change my tranny fluid?? lol... anyway, I'm not sure, but my car is now A LOT faster... No I'm not smoking crack... I need a guru's help on this one. Thanks guys.
