When i speed up the car makes a sharp grinding noise, more often when i shift too,whats the problem? anyone know

 

wait, what? it ONLY happens when u shift -> synchros possibly, other than that... more detail!

 

whenever i get up to 4000-5000 rpms it grinds real quick then stops even if i dont push in on the clutch but it does it often when i press on the clutch to shift, and sometimes when i turn on the car after a couple seconds i can hear something vibrate for loike 3 seconds and then it stops, hope thats enough details, the engine light isnt on or anything though, so im confused,anyone know?

 

possibly the infamous header rattle?

sound like it's comin from the tranny? if so my guess would be input bearing.... does your car make that noise in nuetral with the clutch out?

that might be your ABS pump... no big deal...
