Default Injen intake

I have a question about Injen intakes. which injen cai performs better the race division one( one pieace cold air intake) or the standord cold air intake( a short ram with a cold air extension)? also does anyone have a injen cai? good gains? does it come close or perform better than the aem cai?

They're both pretty good. Looks like the injen has the aem beat by 1-3 whp up top but the aem wins from low to mid. They're both good, i'd just get the cheaper one.

I have the race division intake...

It's one piece and I "think" it flows better than the extension design.

It's basically an AEM with slightly smoother bends for better flow. I have a Skunk2 mani, so I have the ITR version...

Take care,

i believe that the 1 piece injen is 2.75" and the 2 piece is 3".

I ran a 15.4 best with just an AEM w/2.4 60
I ran a best of 15.2 with just an Injen with a 2.4 60 ft

The Injen has been shown to make more up top, but that does not mean that the AEM is garbage . I have the AEM and have been more than satisfied with it. Although when purchasing a 1-piece cold air intake it is a good idea to take into consideration that if your area turns into a lake (streets get flooded) that you should look into getting a 2-piece cold air intake or you could opt for the Comptech Icebox which is a cold air intake and cannot hydrolock the engine because the filter is in the engine bay instead of in front of the wheel well like with my AEM.

the the 1 pieace is 2.75" and the 2 pieace is 3". does the 2 pieace get better air flow, and which intake is the one that gets 1-3whp more the aem, the 1 or 2 pieace ?
