Default Car smoking at redline....What is it??

I was wondering if anyone here can help me. I am sure that their is someone who can. So here is the deal. I have a b18C1 in my 92 hatch and everytime I take the car to redline (8k) and let off to shift I get a puff of white smoke out the back. The car is running fine and has no misses or knocks. I also am running a Skunk2 racing ecu, Skunk2 exhaust and intake. Anyone have any ideas or things I can check to see what the cause of the problem may be? Any help would be greatly apperciated. Thanks

after a full throttle run up to red line you stir alot of oil up and then when you let off the gas in between shifts vacuum is at its highest and is sucking the oil through your valve seats. My suggestion is valve seals. On the other hand that ecu can be running you really rich at certain rpm incraments and you might be seeing unburnt fuel. Worst case sinareo if the motor is smoking during excelleration than oil control rings.

Probably running rich... same thing happens to me ... im running skunk2 p28,skunk2 mani,dc 4-1,exhaust... just got a compressing and it was straight all they way across the board and leakdown was only at 3% on all cyl... so my guess we running rich on the skunke proggy....but still get a compression or leakdown test... its good to know how the motors doing

The car is using oil tho, that is what concerns me and it is white smoke. Wouldn't fuel be black?

Fuel is a grayish to black smoke, white is antifreeze. Oil is blue smoke.

I would still be leaning tward the rich side though in your case. Mine does it to at the track.

Does it look like this smoke?
