Default Hondata Questions???

I am about to get an ITR. I want to make as much power as possible N/A. I am thinking of getting the Hondata S200. I was wondering what peeps HP figures some of you have seen on stock ITRs and modified ones. I plan on running in the future Toda B cams, springs, retainers, gears, p&p head, port matched intake, exhaust and header. With those mods in mind what else would you suggest to accomplish max HP with the Hondata?

make sure you get a very good tuner for the hondata...don't get someone who has just started tuning hondata or never does it on the dyno

I got my Jun 3 cams tuned with hondata but my tuner is only used to doing street tuning so I got pretty bad results on the dyno

Cool. I am not sure who I will have tune it. But I am sure there is someone in S. California that can tune them properly.

That's the direction I started, although I used an A'PEXi PowerFC...I sold off the B's and I'm making more torque and a much better power curve with the stock cams with well thought out supporting parts. Do some good research and you'll find that without the correct engine combination big cams are more of a liability.

What are some setup suggestions for the hondata S200? I am looking to make some good mid to high end power? Cause this car is going to be used for road racing. I also thinking of using Spoon cams. Any feed back on the Spoon cams and the Hondata s200

First thing is to upgrade the driver through numerous track days and instruction, sendond thing to look at is what's legal in the class that you plan to compete in.

This car is going to be a daily driver. Weekend track car... So I am not too concerned with what is allowed and not allowed... But if I do then I will take your advice.

Bigger injectors. Headporting. Higher compression pistons.

Spoon cams aren't that much greater than stock. Get something more agressive

the hondata s200 is a good unit, but first off learn to drive the car in stock form then go from there.

I would look into buying either a hytech or SMS header, i gained 23whp from just a SMS header w/out any tuning what so ever. if you want cams you can get cams, cams of your choice, i run JUN3s, then if you need tuning hit up AutolinkMotorworks @ http://www.autolinkmotorworks.com and let Dr. Charles tune that **** up for you, and we all know nobody knows hondas like Charles.

If you need a appointment or hook up there let me know, i'll set you up.
