have have no idea if that ecu will give you any more performance, but it probably won't.

I'd leave your ecu alone, I have at least 3 friends that have swapped their ecu's, and it's nothing but problems. One is a b16crx, with some fucked up mugen ecu that makes you redline higher. One is a 300zx non turbo that is no longer running because of the ecu, and the other is a 99 sh lude that has the jdm obd 1 ecu and it now runs like ****.

Trust me, the few extra hp that it might give you isn't worth all the problems.

Do a search, someone here used a method to make the runners open on a non-ex ECU. It was fairly simple, but I forget who did it and what they spliced/plugged into.

After that, there's not much that can be done besides the exhaust (minimal gains), porting the head ($$$), a lightened flywheel ($$$, hope you have tons of time) and clutch combo and a few other things.

For the age of the engine, I don't think it's worth it. But more power to you.

with that price that you listed there...add another 3 bills and i can get you an h22a with ecu...especially if you're in the bay area...i can swap that motor in with your f22a auto tranny for 3 billz...and if you wanna upgrage your tranny or go auto to manual...you can always do that later when you have money...you're wasting money with the wrong thing man...

if you wire up the IAB solenoid and use the box you need the EX ecu.. otherwise just run straight vacuum

the ex ecu also has better fuel curves.
