Default B20 Fuel Pressure

Could someone please give me an idea of what I should set my B&M FPR to. I have a b20 w/ls manifold, I/H/E, and a test pipe. I'm using a '95 ls ecu. HX guy your input would be especially apreciated since you have a b20 and have been to a dyno.

Are you using a regluar intake or cold air?

i have not tested a regular short intake...but with the 3" diameter cold air setup...around 44 PSI (w/hose attached) was what seemed to work best.

Check it out:

See how it picked up quite a bit in teh midrange with more fuel? Again though..this might be because of the cold air intake sucking in extra air at 4500.

Thanks

Yeah its a cold-air, Injen Intake w/cold-air extension, I'm pretty sure it is 3" also.

Heh...sweet. I have the DC Sports intake with Injen Cold Air Extension...so basically the same thing as yours. Try around 42-44 PSI w/ hose attached.

What dip in power? It isnt actually a dip in power...

Youre looking at it kidna like "The glass is half empty" instead of "the glass is half full"

The "surge" at around 4500 is a characteristic of the cold air intake...if you were to use a regular intake...the power would just be linear (or so Im assuming...Ill check this next time I hit the dyno)

thats a rather large spike for just an intake...there looks to be something happening...the torque curve should be rather flat...

Back from the WAY dead...sorry.

I installed the fuel pressure gauge to check what pressure I'm at before I installed the adjustable fpr and I believe my fuel pressure is way low.
26 psi? This is while the car was running. Shouldn't I be around 45 psi?
I'm using stock 240cc injectors with what I believe is an LS fuel rail on a B20Z2 motor in my '98 Civic Ex.

It runs good...just has a rpm surge at idle. I too am using a stock P75 ecu.

Fuel pressure reads 32psi with the vacuum hose disconnected at idle. I'm gonna throw the fpr on tonight and get it up to 45psi.

Back up from the dead. I just did a JDM B20B in a 99 automatic integra. Everything is fine but check engine light went on because it was running lean. I reset it and drove it for about 100 miles and the check engine light didn't go on. How many psi should i set the fuel? BTW, everything is stock.

WILL THE STD VTEC FPR AND ECU RUN THE CAR? ITS A 00' CIVIC VTEC... SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO, I AM GETTING AN ADJUSTABLE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR WITH A GAUGE SOME1 SET IT AT 4 BARS... im having the same issue, i have stock jdm b20b on a 99 ls automatic integra, fuel pressure is around 30 on idle and 40-42 when accelerating, also the fuel consumption is abnormal less than 15 mpg, is it normal? I have everything from the original engine b18 . P75 intake, obd 2 ecu, but the car fuel efficiency is definitely abnormal, any ideas guys?
