cam gears?
what up everyone. i have a 98 acura integra ls and i got about $250. a friend told me to get some cam gears and pulleys, but the problem is that i don't have a clue to what the hell cam gears and pulleys do in performance wise. can someone please explain to me what they do and if they are worth it. later
What are your current modifications? If the car is completely stock, neither of those suggestions would be my first choice.
edit: As far as what each does, adjustable cam gears allow you to adjust cam timing as a method of tuning the motor. They aren't just "bolt-on" horsepower, and they need to be tuned on a dyno to provide a benefit. "Pulleys" are lighter pulleys (either crank pulley or accessory pulleys) that also underdrive, which serve to reduce parasitic losses and free up horsepower.

Then my next "power-adder" would be a high-flow cat.
