Default Clicking noise from motor while driving...help...

Ok...a little back ground. I have a 91 DX hatch with D16Z6. I recently hooked up a zex kit, and in the past few days I have noticed a sort of clicking noise. It sounds like its coming from the block, or possibly from a pulley or something, and it get progressively faster and louder as i accelerate more....I am worried to think that it may be a similar problem that I had on a previous motor. In my old motor, I threw a rod and shot a hole through my block...does anyone know if this could be the case again, or is there another posibility maybe I didnt consider. Any help is welcome, but please no BS responses or comments that are more worthless then the time it took to write them...thanks guys/girls
