Default Possible Newb insurence ?

Ok I am planning on buying a Teg very soon but I fear my insurence rates. So I want to know if anyone knows if 94 or 95 Tegs get the same insurence rates as do 99 or 2ks. Right now I am 24 with 2 speeding tickets that should clear very soon in the next 6 months and I live in Cali. So I am basically asking if the age of the Teg possibly lower my insurence rates compared to the newer ones? I hope I dont get flamed to search or something.

NO - the newer the car, the higher the rate. and how did you clear 2 speeding tickets in 6 months? i thought traffic school is only every 18 months.

i dunno about him but i've had two speeding tickets cleared that were received in a 5 month period. i got "deferred adjudication (sp)", which means i pay a small fine and say i won't speed (in that town) for three months. if i don't (get caught) speed then i have it removed, if i do, however, it's really bad news. so i just found a different small town to speed in

btw-my insurance is $150/month (full coverage)

****, my 94gsr w/123k miles is costing me $1400 a year!!!! When I turn 25 next year WITH 9 years driving experience it's going down to $1100.

I'm bitching and moaning now, I was expecting like $800-$900 at most for a car that is almost 10 years old.

Have fully comp, and selling the car as my rates keep increasing, BTW I live in FL full of old people driving their cars into pools!
Not a good car to have while in college/university
