Default JDM 4-1 typeR headers in a 91LS

just what the topic says. will the JDM 4-1 tpyeR header fit on my b18a. what all needs to be modified in order to be installed properly, eventually i will be swapping to B16 or B20 so i shouldn't have problems swapping these headers into those engines.

just what he said. Everything should bolt up just fine, it will hang a little low, but if you get the OEM Honda Type R manifold, you can get a skid plate (www.heeltoeauto.com). Also, if you get the OEM manifold, also remember to grind away the internal welds and re weld it on the outside.

on your header your going to have a 2 1/2" collector and i am pretty sure that you either need to make a test pipe or modify yout cat

JDM 4-1 header + NYC potholes= dented header. The header hangs kinda low on these cars. I ended up getting the Apexi header afterwards.

mine barely hangs lower than stock on my GSR. The DC JDM 4-1 is lower though. I got a skidplate just in case but I've yet to scrape it.

he's asking about the DA chassis not the DC chassis.

don't you have to alter your crossmember to use the ITR header in a DA?

It needs to be cut slightly to clear, nothing much. The piping also needs to be extended and turned around 180 degrees cuz the flange is opposite of eachother
