Default which springs for 94'accord?

i've searched thru the forum quite a bit but i wanted to get opinions on springs for a 94' accord dx 4dr. i wanna drop my girlfriend's car as a gift but it can't be too low because of her driving style. haha. i was leaning towards the neuspeed sport springs or the eibach pro kit. she wants the drop to be noticeable but doesn't wanna bottom out or anything. i have neuspeed race springs (f&r=2.25in.) on my hatch and she definatley won't be able to handle crawling over speed bumps like i do. also, are shocks neccesary? the stock ones feel fine but once it's lowered i wonder how long they'll last? i'm running low on money so we might have to wait on those. thnx guys! i'm a newbie with accords so take it easy on me!

if u are using stock struts, buy the matching year from neuspeed/H&R (94-95 application). if you are getting her struts w/ those springs.... you'd probably be better off buying 96-97 springs. This si because honda had a different strut perch height for 94-95's that were higher, and used shorter springs. it seems a lot of aftermarket strut makers used the 96-97 perch height which is lower, but where honda used longer springs.

if you use 94-95 neuspeed springs on aftermarket struts that use the 96-97 perch, you get like an extra inch to inch and a half of lowering that you dont expect.

Im using 94/95 H&R sports on my 96 and compared to a friends 94 with the same setup the difference in height isnt really noticable. Its only about a 1/4 inch difference. BTW I recommened this setup if your gf doesnt have a front lip or body kit. I scrape my lip everytime I pull out the driveway .

Oh and paired up my springs with kyb agx, great daily driver set up for the $$$$ .

the springs are used, but are in excellent shape. i (mistakenly) bought some skunk2s, and i have these as extra. they are black, and still have the H&R writing on the side (kept up very well). and as for a price, cheap. you should get a camber kit, but you don't necessarilly "need" one, with a drop like this. but it is a good idea. for a price, shoot me a offer. i go down to L.A. every once in a while, so that would save on shipping if you'd want to meet in L.A. somewhere.

there are some people who end up w/ a big drop difference than what is expected when running the wrong spring/struts. Some have like the "race" drop or more w/ sport springs. idunno, just food for thought thou that there were diff spring sizes and perch locations.

I have H&R sports on my 95. I love em. But I think the drop is about a 1/4 inch lower than advertised though.
