Thanks Ken. Hey what were you going to do about the Apex'i Universal Muffler. Or were you going to take Erics. You never did get back to me.
I have it in stock (The new one that is Styled like the VAFC SAFC etc) It only comes in KM/H Since there isnt a US version It also Comes with as G Sensor as they call it similar to the Blitz Power meter To tell you approx Power of the car and much more.

Measures a vehicle's engine RPM, speed, and distance traveled. It can measure the speed acheived & the time elapsed in 0-100m. 0-200m, 0-400m runs, and vice versa, it can measure the time elapsed for 0-100km/h, 0-200km/h, & 0-300km/h. In addition, with time taken to acheive a vehicle's top speed, intermediate acceleration can be measured. It records & stores the 5 best values of each function. Turning the power off will erased all values recorded if not stored in memory. (Stop watch readings are erased when power is turned off)
G-Sensor which is sold separately. It also works on 4WD vehicles. It has a replay function. If this is used, it is able to verify the change in acceleration during track runs, and replay the figures after each run. With input settings of a vehicle gross weight & rolling resistance, actual horsepower can be calculated using vehicle speed. With these functions on the G-Sensor, engine tuning will result in accurate horsepower readings.
This is basically everything it does. There is Apexi stand but it's sold separately as well. The whole package deal should be around $300-320 shipped.

What's the difference between this and the g-tech?
Is this more accurate?
It seems like an accelerometer + other functions...
Classified as a tuning tool, right?
Yes you have to connect to ECU to monitor speed and tach sensors. It's kinda neat. I'm sure the US version will be out soon.
300 bucks is the price to import them directly from Japan. However in Hong Kong most things are cheaper due to general market will not pay top dallor as in other countries or in Japan. This is main reason alot of dealers in Japan do not want to support Tein sales due to there high wholesale prices compared to China's. Because you would think it would be cheaper in your own country but that is not to case with some companies.
US$300 wouldnt include shipping i guess. we have it in australia for long already and it is a very good device, accurate for 0-100kph(60mph), not for 1/4 due to wheel spin. G sensor its an optional unit for another 60-70 US bucks.
Also for pricing in Hong Kong, they afford to sell it cheap coz they dont have sales tax, and sometimes they are factory defect unit, so you better watch out.
