Who thinks it will hold the pressure and work well? im not talking about super high performance setups...but like setups under 12 psi...

What does everyone think?

if you're thinking about snaking it as one piece, i say no because it wont bend enough to an angle you would need it. Well i would say no either way, the only thing those are good for are for dump tubes..

cheap + fast = isn't realiable

realiable + fast = isn't cheap

Which way do you want to go.

If you can't afford it yet... then just wait. winter is coming, save up this winter, get the turbo put on in spring. Don't rush yourself, and just do it right the FIRST time so you don't have to fix things later on. When going turbo.. yes, patience is a virtue. A lot of people RUSH into their turbo setups "I WANT TURBO!! I WANT TURBO NOW!!" And end up braking or blowing something.

So just take your time, and do it right.

Goodluck.

I have used that for re-routing WG dumps. Looking inside I think it is fine for exhaust applications, but not a good choice for charge air pipes. Anything is possible though, but I would rather spend time building charge pipes the old fashioned way.

Agreed, however some people have used this setup and have had some success. But most do not really recommend it..

Jc Whitney sells aluminized steel if you didint know. Thats what everyone uses through them for charge piping. I paid like $67+ shipping for all my bends

I would use radiator hose for charge piping before i would use that. Sure it may hold enough pressure to allow you to make whatever manifold pressure you are looking for but, you will have no idea if it is leaking at all and if so what kind of leakage you have numbers wise. If it leaks you will be pushing your turbo past the efficiency you think it is at.

I’m using about 1 foot of it in my set up it works and hold up to 15 psi so fare. The only thing is when you weld to it makes the seams not seal in the area right where your welded nothing a little JB weld can’t fix. Put some water in it to see if it leaks and it doesn’t. It been working with no problems ever since.
