(specif to h22 turbo guys) should i get a t4 turbo
i think i would get a better response here than in the FI forum so please dont lock or delete
right now i have a t3/to4b (yea i know its small) i was just offered a straight T4 turbo (not sure on the exact specs yet) but i want to know if a T4 turbo would be bennificial to me..
i have an h22 with 8.8:1 compresion...would swapping turbos be a good move? and yes i know i will have to change manifolds..
your help will be greatly appreciated

Ok first off, how much power are you looking to make? Also, I have to have the specs on the t4 to tell you if swapping turbo's will be of a benifit to you.
Most likely, you will take longer to spool due to the t4 turbine and the 8.8:1 compression you have but the t4 quite possibly will put out more top end power.
As I stated before, we have to have specs on both turbo's before we can tell you what is better for your motor.

here are the specs on my turbo
T3/TO4B, with aT3 0.63 A/R ratio turbine housing with a stage II wheel and a TO4B compressor housing with a Super V wheel
i am not sure what the specs are on the other turbo as yet still waiting on the guy to get back to me

i'm going to be running a t4 60-1 .58 hotside .70 cold on a completely stock h22. so say i'll lag, some say i won't. i really don't care
On my new set up i will also have about 8.8:1 comp ratio. I have the same turbo as yours and i made 311 whp on pump at 1 bar on 9:1 JE slugs.
For now i will stay with the same turbo as this is mainly a street car. And i really dont get the point of gettin rediculously huge turbos where u dont even see full efficiency untill maybe at soem rediculous RPM. With the drop in CR i should be well into the efficency range of my smaller turbo. If i make 350whp ill be happy.

but i'd say its going ot be too big, unless you want pure top end. if not get a big t3 60-1, thats what i have and loving it.
