Default just ran her... not too happy

hey i just ran her last night. my best run was a 14.7 et was 99.26 with a 2.3 60' . all the other runs were from 15.5-15.1. what was werid was that my clutch would slip in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th around 5500rpms i have a action 1md clutch but i bought used so that maybe the problem but im not sure. i was running about .720 bar(around 10psi) on a JDM d15b in a 95 civic coupe i was hoping for at least low 14s too. all well

if you clutch is slipping that will drop your car and you probaly didnt get a good launch. get a new clutch and get low 14s.

Hey, did I just see you at the track?? Red civic coupe??

Whats up mang! I'm the guy with the White hatch and GSR engine.

I would say fix that clutch. Your traps are good for high 13's.

Your mph is good for high 13's. I had a stock slipin clutch and trapped 94(bottle), with the act it went up to 99mph. I would bleed the clutch lines again to make sure there are no air bubbles.

I had a clutchnet with my old setup, and have a clutchmasters for the new one.

Action clutches are good....sounds like you need one that can handle a little bit more TQ.

How can everyone tell when they're clutch is slipping? I know how you can tell when it's REALLY slipping but if you're paranoid like me and not knowing if it's holding the power or not?

I would put it in 5th gear cruising around 40mph, floor it for a couple seconds. You will know if its slippin. My situation though, the stock clutch would not slip all motor, but off the bottle it slipped.

When my ACT took a dump, the best way I could describe it is this:

You know the sensation you get when/if you do a burnout? It's like that. I would cruise in 5th, ease up to 4000-4500 rpm to pass someone, then the revs just start going up, but I'm not accelerating. That's when I knew.
