Indiglo Gage color question
I just installed a reverse indiglo gauge set in my Prelude. I set the color (deep blue) and shade to where I want it, but after I turn off the car, the light 'resets' to green. And I have to go through the process all over again every time I get in the car at night!!
Is there a way to keep this from happening?
Currently the indiglo turns on when I start the car, not when I turn on the headlights. I'm going to try changing the positive lead to a different terminal, but I don't see how that will help.
Any suggestions?

sounds as if your wiring is screwed somewhere....I think the control has to have a constant live wire ...you probably have it so it shuts off when the cars ignition is shut off, hnce it resets itself back to default green...
I don't know much about this but I think the way it hooks up is similar to the problem I ran into with my foglights. It sounds like you need to have it wired to the headlights and not to the ignition. Think about it this way... you can have your headlights on with the ignition off so they work independently. Having this indepence means the color on your indiglo won't get reset because it's always receiving constant juice (even if it is turned off when the head lights are turned off). Why would you wire it to have the indiglo on all the time? The stock dash is wired to the headlights, doesn't it make sense to have the indiglo the same way?
"I see" said the blind man. That makes since. I will try it tonight an give an update.
I'm not trying to wire them up to have them on all the time. (That was part of the problem).
Thanks!
